journeying

So, here we are. At the beginning of something new. I’m going to start this ‘blog’ with an invitation to you to come on this journey with me. This idea of journeys fascinates me. I like it. Isn’t all research a journey? All art endeavours? All teaching moments? Sometimes we make journeys with a clear end point. Sometimes we hit a bump in the road - a traffic jam, a diversion, a flat tyre, even. Journeys make us feel a hundred and one different emotions depending on where we are going, why we are going there, and who we are going with. Sometimes we take journeys that don’t have a known end destination. That’s what this feels like to me. Into the unknown. Full of trepidation and hope and thoughtlines running away with me!
